IJR believes that M&E data is key at every reflection and planning stage of the organisational life of the IJR. However, the lack of capacity has in the past years lead to the fact that the analysis of the available data is lacking.

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator who will support the coordination of the monitoring and evaluation activities at mothers2mothers Swaziland with the aim of measuring programme performance, improving quality of care, and reporting programme activities to donors and other key stakeholders. This position works in close collaboration with local partners including the Ministry of Health to achieve optimal programme results. Manage implementation of all M&E activities for m2m’s South Africa Mentor Mother Programme - Capacity Building project, including provision of M&E capacity building support to Provincial Departments of Health, District Health Management Teams and Implementing Partners. Leading a team of M&E Coordinators, the Senior MEC will manage M&E systems to measure and track program performance of the CB project and ensure quality M&E technical assistance is provided to the South African Government for integration of SAMMP. The position will be based in the m2m SA Country Office in Pretoria; reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager – South Africa.
