Doing more with less is one of the major challenges facing state and local governments today. Budgetary pressures are compounded by rising costs, increasing constituent expectations and legislative scrutiny. Ultimately, organizations must decide how to provide the right constituent services with the appropriate resources, while attaining strategic goals and managing performance.
Following the successful 2nd Biennial South African Monitoring and Evaluation Conference that took place in August 2009 at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg, Commissioner Mamaroba Malahlela and Mr Indran Naidoo, Deputy-Director General of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Public Service Commission and a SAMEA board member , was interviewed around outcome of the conference on the ETV Sunrise (Breakfast Show).
